Caring for your menstrual swimsuit
Just like period underwear, period swimwear is easy to care for. After your swim or when you get back from the beach, make it a habit to rinse it in clear water to remove blood as well as sand, salt or chlorine residue. Avoid fatty soaps or other harsh household products. These can prematurely damage the swimsuit.
Then pop your swimsuit in the washing machine with the rest of your clothes, preferably on a short cycle at a maximum of 30°C. High temperatures can damage the performance of the absorbent layer. Just like with period panties, no tumble dryer here! Air drying is recommended. With these simple steps, you’ll protect your swimsuit and keep it for many years!
